Author and journalist John Power has 25 years' experience as a full-time Australian media professional dealing in architectural themes, sustainability and the built environment. He is a former editor of national magazines including Building Connection, Facility Management, and Power Equipment Australasia, and has written thousands of magazine and newspaper articles throughout his career. Currently, John writes feature articles for numerous B2B magazines and serves as editor of Plumbing Connection.
He has also written two books: Life Training: Short Stories to Be Read on Trains, and Air Lines: Short Stories to Be Read on Planes (released in early 2024).
John holds a B.A. (Comb. Hons) degree in Philosophy & French from The University of Melbourne, and a Graduate Diploma in Publishing & Editing from Monash University.
